LCIF Grant application Approved by the Multiple Council

The Multiple Council 323 has approved the LCIF Standard Grant application for the construction of SNEH Building. The proposal of 100000 USD was submitted by the District Governor Lion Mukesh Mathur in the first multiple council meeting. The application is made jointly by Lions Club Nagda Greater & Lions Club Nagda for the LCIF SG of 75000 USD & rest 25000 USd is being collected as local matching fund from the donors. Lions Cabinet 323-G2 has already passed it in its first meeting. Now the proposal will be put to the International Board of Directors of Lions International at USA in October. SNEH family is thankful to DG Lion Mukesh Mathur & Multiple Council Chairman Lion Anil Desai.

BEST ACTIVITY OF THE DISTRICT

SNEH got the consecutive second year THE BEST ACTIVITY OF THE DISTRICT under the category of work for differently able people. District Governor Lin Dr Bam Shankar Joshi presented award to the SNEH committee in the District Award ceremony at Ujjain. We are thankful to the District Governr for giving this honor to SNEH.

Celebrated 15th Aug

On the occasion of 15th Aug flag hosting was performed by Mr Sunil Kothari ( Young Industrialist) & Mr Surendra Kankria (President: Kirana Vyapari Sangh),. Lions Club Nagda Greater Hosted the complete program. Awards  were distributed to kids for the various activities. PDG Lion I. A. Quadri, Lion Dr S.R. Chawla, Region Chairman Lion C.S> Jain, Zone Chairman Lion Ajay Garwal, Lion's Greater President Lion Sujit Choudhary & other guest were also present.Sweet was distributed at the end of the program. Vinay Raj Sharma conducted the program.

Bhoomi Poojan of SNEH's Proposed Building Performed

The long awaited Bhoomi Poojan of SNEH's Proposed new building was performed in a very graceful program. Mr Devendra Singh Chowdhary (Indonesia based NRI), who donated the land in the memory of her mother Late Smt Suraj Bai Chowdhry  was the Chief Guest of the program. National General Secretary of BJP Mr T.C. Gehlot, Grasim Executive President Dr. Prakash Maheshwari, Nagda Municipal Council Chairperson Mrs Shobha Gopal Yadav, Ex MLA Mr. Lalsingh Ranawat, Ex Chairman Urja Vikas Nigam Mr Dilip Singh Shekhawat, Chief of Ujjain District Social Justice Department Geeta Kamthe, LAnxess Nagda Head Mr Bappa Bandopadhyay, ARCIL Nagda Head Mr Sanat Rai & Chief of Manovikas Ujjain Father Thomas were present as the Special Guest of the Function. Founder & President of SNEH Pankaj Maru informed all about the history & proposed plan of SNEH. All speakers conveyed their best wishes & promise to support SNEH in best possible manner. They all praised the work done by SNEH in a short span of two years. Mrs Chanda Chowdhary, wife of Mr Chowdhary & Mr Bahadur Chowdhary was also present in the program.They Honored Sister Agnes with state level "SURAJ-SNEH-SAMARPAN" Sanmaan who is working for special children for last 28 years.Many Donors declared to support financially in construction of new building of SNEH included Mr Jitendra Raghuvanshi, Mr Niranjan Pareek, Mr. Praveen Sharma, Mr. Rajmal Maru, Mr Chandrashekhar Jain, Mr Nirmal Jian, Dr. S.R. Chawla, Mr Sudhir Kulkarni, Mrs Shobha Gopal Yadav, Mr Deepak Bhatia, Mrs Indubala Chaplot, Dr Vipin Porwal & many more.  

Lion Dr S.R. Chawla & Lion Satish Bajaj Supported SNEH

Lion Dr S.R Chawla (Ex- Medical Officer- civil Hospital Nagda) donated a latest vibrator & Lion Satish Bajaj Donated a music system to SNEH. PMCC Lion Santosh Shetty handed over both trhe things to Dr Naina Christian & Mrs. Priyanka Shrivastava. SNEH family is thankful to both the lion members to support us.

SNEH Faculties Got Honored

PMCC Lions Santosh Shetty on the occasion of his visit as Chief Guest in the installation ceremony of Lions Club Nagda, Nagda Greater & Leo club Nagda, honored the faculties of SNEH. He presented the Lions pin and memento to Mrs Priyanka Shrivstava (Special Educator & Dr. Naina Christian.He also presented the trophy of Best Service activity received from the Lions Multiple 323.  

PMCC Lion Santosh Shetty (Mumbai) Visited SNEH

Past Multiple Council Chairman of Lions Multiple 323 & Past President of Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India MJF Lion Santosh Shetty Visited SNEH campus. He spent half an hour and understood the working of SNEH. Dr Naina & Mrs Priyanka explained him about the tools & techniques used to cure the kids. He liked the innovative techniques used in the SNEH. He also suggested to applied for LCIF grant for the SNEH. PDG Lion I.A. Quadri, Region Chairman Lion C.S. Jain, Zone Chairman Lion Ajay Garwal & other Lion dignitaries were also present.

Plantation With Lanxess

LANxess India which has taken the SNEH under its CSR program, organized a huge plantation program in its campus on the occasion of The World Environment Day. The invited SNEH also and a plantation was also conducted by the Funder & President of SNEH Pankaj Maru. Vice President of SNEH Management Committee Mr Govind Mohta, LANxess Unit Head Mr Bappa Bandopadhyay, Technical Head of LANxess Mr S.N. Sharma, other top officials from various industries & journalist were also present.

Great Response From DM Ujjani Dr. M. Geetha

It was a pleasure feeling for whole SNEH family when we came to know that the Ujjain District Collector Dr. M Geetha, after getting an email from Founder of SNEH, sent the joint Director Mrs Getta Kamthe to visit SNEH campus. The Govt schemes can only be implemented in the best possible manner if the officials work like Dr M. Geetha. 

Within a week time, after receipt of email all the formalities to register SNEH with social justice department has been completed. It was a great surprise for all of us to see the quick working of Social Justice Department also, where Mrs Geeta Kamthe & Mr Deepak Mahdik supported us like anything to complete the formalities. Next day to the inspection, they have forwarded the papers for further processing for registration. Both appreciated the work done by SNEH committee for the betterment of Special Need Children. They also appreciated the theme of SNEH to make these Special Children self sustainable.

SNEH family is thankful to Collector Dr. M. Geetha, Joint Director Mrs Geetha Kamthe & Mr Deepak Mahdik for their whole hearted support in this noble mission.

"SNEH" Got the BEST ACTIVITY Award in Lions Multiple Convention Ahmedabad

"SNEH" the permanent project of Lions Club Nagda Greater has been awarded as "BEST ACTIVITY" of the Multiple in the category of work for disable. A detailed report on the activities being conducted by the SNEH was submitted to the highly qualified award committee."SNEH" has been selected out of 1267 clubs of Multiple 323 which covers the MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Maharashtra, & Goa.  This is the only Multiple level award which District 323-G2 got in the multiple convention. Vice District Governor  Lion Atul Shah & Region Chairman Lion Sanjay Agarwal accepted the Winning trophy on behalf of the SNEH which was given by Lion Fateh Chand Ranka, Multiple Council Chairman at Ahmedabad on 1st May. Lion I.A. Quadri (PDG & SNEH committee member) contributed a lot for this award. Thanks to Multiple council Chairman Lion Rankaji, all the members of award committee, Lion Quadriji, D.G. LANXESS Senior Executive Director and Sr Vice Preisdent Mr Neelanjan Banerjee Visited SNEH

" I am very Happy and satisfied to see the outcome from the SNEH", Mr Neelanjan Banerjee, Sr Executive Director of German MNC LANXESS, commented on his first visit to SNEH campus after LANXESS's financial support. "The difference before and after is clearly visible & money was spent in the right direction", he added. He has seen each and every equipment & other infrastructure facilities bought through the funds received under CSR program of SNEH. Dr. Naina Christian & Mrs Priyanka Shrivastwa explained him the progress and results after the LANXESS support. The sensory unit, multi utility work station, traction machine, wax bath, ultrasound, Infrared, coolers, floor mats are the major things which SNEH bought. " The increase in no of children to 25 and improvement in quality of clay article is also remarkable", added Mr Bappa Bandopadhyay,the Unit Head of LANXESS Nagda unit who is regularly visiting and monitoring the progress of SNEH. "We are in the process to get registered the donated land & complete other legal formalities very soon to shift SNEH in its own building", Pankaj Maru , President SNEH informed him.

Mr Banerjee and Mr Bappa was welcomed by Kapil and Nikita on the arrival. Mr Banerjee is very happy to see Kapil walking. " In this busy life if we could able to get such results in the life of Special Need Children thru SNEH, nothing can be better then this, therefore it is the most satisfactory at the end of the day." He concluded. He committed to keep coming to SNEH. Mr Pankaj Pawecha, BU Controller LANXESS Nagda unit, & Mr Vinay Raj Sharma Secretary of SNEH were also present on the occasion.

Good News From SNEH Campus: Kapil has started Walking

Hey all,

It is giving me immense pleasure to inform all of you that one more child of SNEH has started walking. Kapil Parmar aged 5 yrs, when joined SNEH in July 2010 was unable to walk due to Cerebral Palsy (CP). Dr Naina Christian (Occupational Therapist) committed to make it happen and just in 8 months he has started walking. kapil a very cute boy used to say in Malvi (local language of Malawa area of MP) "MHARI HADDI THHEEK KARI DO" (Pls treat my legs) in such a innocent manner that no one can stop the emotions.

Here are the few pictures of Kapil in which he is walking independently. Still lot more is to be done for him and we are sure we will get it.................Thanks & congratulations to Dr Naina, Mrs Priyanaka, All the staff of SNEH, parenets of Kapil & all the well wishers & supporters of SNEH.

Father Thomas Visited SNEH

The well known personality in the area of Special need Education and head of Manovikas Ujjain Father Thomas visited SNEH. He observed the activities very keenly. Baby Stuti welcomed him. He liked the vocational work of clay items. He suggested many things to make the SNEH more organized. He praised the work done & result got in short period of time. He also assured to extend his support for any help in this area. Baby Sonu gave him a clay article as a memento.

Basant Panchami Celebrated

On the occasion of Basant Panchami children perform the Saraswati Pooja in SNEH. Children were very happy to perform the pooja. Sweet was distributed after completion of pooja.

Another Happy Moment in SNEH

Today on 1st FEB Pankaj Pawecha celebrated his birthday with SNEH children. It was a very happy moment for SNEH family as we are all meeting after the publication of SNEH article in Business India. It was the sole effort of Pankaj Pawecha to bring the executive editor Mr Sekhar to SNEH campus during his visit of Lanxess..

Cake was cut by him & specially prepared refreshment & toffees were distributed among the kids. He also contributed Rs 1111.00 on the occasion to SNEH.

We all wish him a very happy birthday & successful career ahead.

SNEH STALL IN ANAND MELA 2011

SNEH exhibits its products in ANAND MELA 2011 organized by Grasim Mahila Mandal in Grasim Staff Club Birlagram Nagda. The stall is visited by all top authorities of Grasim Industries. Director of Grasim Industries Ltd. Mr Shailendra Jain, Executive Prsesident Dr Prakash Maheshwari, Mahila Mandal President Mrs Niharika Jain, Mrs Maheshwari and many other visited the stall and purchase the products. Rotary Governor Mrs Langar was also visited stall and invited SNEH to put a stall of its product in their annual conference in Feb at Indore.
